Recently the Tuttle Times came under new ownership. The new editor contacted me about writing a regular “religion/spiritual” column. My first piece will be published this week. I have been asked to think about giving the regular column a title. Help me name the column. What would you suggest? Leave your idea in the comments. I will consider every reasonable submission and announce the title next week prior to next week’s deadline for the submission – Tuesday at Noon.

Scott - there are quite a few gems in that list. ;)
When I wrote the Faith & Culture column for the Oklahoman (100 years ago, it seems), I had first toyed with simply calling it Praxis. The features editor hated it because "no one will know what that means," always a sure sign that the editor doesn't know what it means and assumes his readership is either equally ignorant or too lazy to look something up. Good luck. Please avoid alliteration (ha!) and pass on puns.
Greg,
I like Praxis. And, thanks for the well wishes. I hope to offer as perceptive reflections as you often contribute in your various writing outlets.
How about ... "The Edge of the Inside" ... has a sort of ring to it ... a sort of je ne sais quoi ... plus, its ALL about branding, right? ;-)
I don't have a suggestion but thank you for the kind compliment from long ago and the memories of the Tempest too. I'm going to miss working for the paper.
