Is. 62 may well be timely. A people forsaken and desolate are in need of hope.
Here are some thoughts connecting John 2 and 1 Cor. 12 as indicators the people of God must be prepared to stand in the gap for people in need of the Liberating King not with lip service or condemnation but action. Fill the jars. Use the abundance and address the need for celebration rather than devastation. The empowering Spirit illuminates Jesus followers to act in ways that declare and end to oppressive suffering. May it be so.
Pray for Haiti and other peoples of the world suffering the need of liberation.

Todd-
I recently read "Faith, Reason and Revolution" by Terry Eagleton, a Marxist. In it he makes a profound statement: "All theology is liberation theology." While this might bring disagreement from me toward a specific theological system, the statement is true, and powerful, on its face.
What do you mean "awaiting moderation"? Doesn't Akismet recognize me?
Good grief.
We are careful with you Marty. Never can be too cautious. :)
