Bringing home the bacon … comparing my bacon to your bacon …

I recently read the world population exceeded 6.5 billion – 6,500,000,000. Lots of zeros! The running total here puts the number greater than 6.6 billion. How do you compare with the rest of the world when it comes to your "wealth?" Take this test and you might will be surprised. Now when it comes to "filling the hungry with good things," how does your bacon, "Bringing home the bacon", compare with the bacon the rest of the world brings home?

  1. charlie says:

Even at 16,000/$ year you are at the top 12% of wealth in the world which is very shocking for several reasons.
    1. that is considered poverty in this country.
    2. It shows how much even the poor in this country have as compared to others.

I read an article the other day how they are now guaging poverty in this country by a consumption index. In that they are looking at what we spend as opposed to what we earn, example how many dvd players you have, tv’s etc…

I guess Will Rogers was right when he said we will be the only Nation that drives it’s self to the poor house.
