Just In Time … Thoughts from The Edge

A number stories in the Scriptures reveal a “just in the nick of time” feature. One of the texts for this coming Sunday may be characterized by the idiom, “just in time.” The Apostle Paul links the coming of Jesus with just the right time. For many the coming of Jesus into their lives has been “just in time.” While some may refer to this as “God’s timing,” it is no less “just the right time.” Simeon underscored the coming of Jesus in “just the right time.” Those who longed for the over throw of the oppressor would view the coming Messiah as coming “just in time.” I offer some thoughts on our own experience this season “just in time” for Christmas.
