New Tab

In the recent re-design of The Edge of the Inside, you will notice a new tab – Book Reviews. One of my “resolves” of this year is to finish a number of books previously started but not completed. The goal is a book a week. Under the new tab you will find reviews of these various books.

I am on my way to completing Todd Mangum and Mark Sweetnam’s The Scofield Bible: It’s History and Impact on the Evangelical Church. Released in the year of the anniversary of the first edition of the study Bible, Mangum and Sweenam offer perspectives from both sides of the pond.

Other books in the queue:

The Devil Reads Derrida, Faith at the Edge, First As Tragedy and then as Farce, Introducing Paul, The Art of the Start, Whose Community? Which Interpretation?, The Great Passion, Thinking Like Your Editor, Deep Church, Logic, and Primal among a host of others.
