Number 3 – Happy Birthday Max Nolen

“There once was a little girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good, and when . . ..”

Tommie once sported curly blonde hair. Every time we see Max we are reminded of those days.

Today we celebrate Max turning 3.

MaxHidingEveryone looks to claim the gene that dominates the feature of Max’s hair. If time has its way, as it did with his mother, they may find another genetic heritage emerge. We will hope for his sake that it is not the Littleton male patterned baldness!

For now, we could alter the jingle. “There once was a little boy, who had a curl, right in the middle of his forehead . . ..” But, that would privilege one curl over the many.

A friend and I were chatting recently and he asked about what it was like having “Grand boys.” “Fun,” I said. We will have some fun this afternoon and we hope many more to come.

Happy Birthday Max!
