A few weeks ago Glenn planned to take our staff to dinner – he and Jeanene. We set the date and then discovered I would be out of town so we rescheduled to last evening. Glenn and Jeanene dabble in antiques. They often reserve booth space at Affair of the Heart each October in Oklahoma City. They told us they would meet us at Johnny Carino’s. We, our staff, met at our building and rode together.

We were met inside by Glenn and Jeanene who had already secured us a place to sit. We moved into a small room generally reserved for large groups – and there was a large group. We were joined by one of our Bible Study groups taught by my Dad. What a surprise! In fact, they could not believe one of us had not heard and knew of the event.

For the past couple of weeks we had talked about the fun we have serving together and that despite the occasional, “What was that?” we would not want to be with any other group of people. They made our evening. So, for “Staff Appreciation” they treated us – and well.
