Friday Photo – Strawberry Please

We discovered a box turtle living under an ornamental evergreen in one of our flower beds. He forages from our front yard to our back yard.

Sunday as we were leaving Patty saw him making his trek to the back yard. She found a strawberry and placed it in his path. We watched as he saw the fruit was pleasing to his eyes and he ate.

We arrived home a little later and assumed he had gotten full and left the rest for another yard made.
