After a long hiatus, Thoughts from the Edge returns as a regular feature here on the blog. Consider it a reprise.
In 2009 I began the podcast aimed at offering a reflection on one or more of the Lectionary Texts for the coming week. Reading the provided texts often opened up themes or raised questions. Each week I wanted to offer a way in which the texts, when read side by side, might draw out something from the other. Consider it something like Brueggemann’s reference to “testimony and counter-testimony.”
The first installment of the reprised podcast is something of an introduction and a test. I am using Bossjock, an iPad and iPhone app, to record the podcasts. The app makes podcast creation a simpler process, though it may take me some time to take to get used to its features.
