Last Friday I took a quick trip to Dallas. We enjoyed living near Dallas at two different times in our lives. But, the traffic, oh the traffic. I sure don’t miss the traffic.

Yes…the traffic. It is quite a bit different than Waterloo, IA traffic. When there the trip to work was about 10-15 minutes. Now the 25 mile drive from home to work is about an hour on a good day. Thank goodness for the DART rail system which stops in the basement of the building I work in. And the cost for an annual pass equals about the cost of filling my truck up twice. Can’t wait for you guys to come down for a visit.
Traffic can be a pain! Try driving in New Orleans in the rain on a hill or with a stalled car on the side of the road … they can’t do it, makes for a much longer trip.
Trent,
I planned for enough time to check in and find a place to eat. Traffic kept me to Burger King. 🙁 It was not much better leaving on Saturday afternoon. Glad you are closer. Glad I only fight HWY 37. 🙂 Looking forward to getting down to check the new digs.
Brenna,
That would be brutal.
Ah, traffic in Dallas – I learned to drive there. Ooo, traffic in Ukraine – I learned to pray there.
Benjamin,
Now that was funny!
