Conviction Not Procedure or, Where Is Part 3

When on vacation enjoy the outdoors. That is my conviction. Currently we are waiting on some afternoon showers to pass while enjoying the cooler weather at Wagon Wheel Gap. There will be a July 4th fireworks show in the canyon this evening. So, while we wait I am posting a brief update on the interrupted series, Ruled Out of Order or, A Pusillanimous SBC. That is my procedure.

Part 3 will carry the theme, Conviction Not Procedure. Part 4 may bring the series to a close with, Solidarity Not Stridency. After a conversation with a friend about the schismatic nature of Baptists I am thinking of a post titled, Still In Need of a Copernican Revolution.

Once I return from the cooler Colorado air, I will make plans to connect with Jonathan Merritt about his recent book I finished. If our schedules work out I would really like to do something beyond the normal review.

Back to enjoying a good book and great weather.

Follow the photos on my Tumblr. If you are on Instagram I will try to include photos there too.

  1. Todd, we camped there and were visited by a cinnamon-colored black bear every evening. It’s a great area.
