Vote for Me – Really

Dave Miller and those over at SBC Voices included me and this blog in their 2012 Blog Madness, dubbed Blue Collar Blog Madness. Someone must have nominated me as the lead up to this year’s contest included a call for nominations. I have been included in the “Southwest Regional.” So, click over and “Vote for me.” Yes, this is a shameless self-promotion. You know the old saying, “If you don’t toot your own horn, no one else will.” 😉

You don’t have to be a Southern Baptist to vote – you just need an internet connection and a willingness to go over and “vote for me.” I will give you something to think about. My guess is that I would be particularly located among the entire field of those included in this “Baptist Bloggers” context. So, let’s see how many of my readers and Facebook friends will head over and “vote for me.”

  1. Todd….REALLY? you are asking for a vote from me and don’t even have me in your Google Reader? You have only one woman that I can discern and it is the infamous Emily Hunter McGowin who, if I am not mistaken, holds an egalitarian viewpoint. J/K

    1. Hariette,
Look again. I have two others in my Google Reader. I don’t have all of the more than 100 feeds listed on my website. It is a sampling. You should be reading Natalie and Mentanna. I also have a couple we support with love and care and the writer of their blog is a fine young woman. There are sixteen for whom you may vote. There are others whom you would be unfamiliar with I read regularly.

Yes – go over and vote.

      1. Todd…kidding…did that not come across? selahV

        1. Hariette,
Oh, I got that. I want other readers how come across your post to consider some of the other voices they should be considering. After all, I did answer your “Really?” with, “Yes-go over and vote.” Of course, the suggestion to go vote was not a just-kidding and was certainly intended as a hope you would vote for me. 🙂

          1. Okay…thanks for the clarification. I am bookmarking the other ladies in your list, by the way. 🙂 selahV
