Cole and Duren Review Burleson

Blogs have niches. In our denomination (SBC) some bloggers self-identify as a “denominational blog.” That is, what they write about pertains to some or all aspects of the Southern Baptist Convention. Over the past few years a number of people spent some time writing in this space. Ben Cole and Marty Duren are two prominent names that surface from those days. Both have moved on to write and be concerned about other matters and their blogs and writings reflect the move.

Recently another denominational blogger, Wade Burleson, published Hardball Religion. The book recounts Wade’s time as Trustee of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. His book may be reviewed by any number of people. Likely Cole and Duren stand in a place to offer an evenhanded critique. Their review has been pulbihsed and is worth your read if you are interested in such things. You can find it here.
