Number 26 – Happy Birthday Tommie

I preferred living graduation presents. Anyone may receive a book, a ring, or some other artifact to mark a special occasion. We were gifted baby girls.

Twenty-six years ago we welcomed Tommie on a foggy Saturday morning. Every year these memorable moments prompt lots of reflections. Parents often wonder, “How did we do?” Many questions arise and what seems most important is not how did we do, but how she is doing.

Tommie, like her sister, is a great Mom. They learned well from their Mom, Patty.

Max did not just inherit Tommie’s curls, he is picking up Tommie’s independence and love of outdoors. She will be a great Mom to our third grand, due to arrive this coming June.

Happy Birthday Tommie!
